Lucy, I love this set! The whole thing looks great together; I hope whoever buys it, buys the set of 3.

Modelling paste is great fun to work with :-)
I used to use it a lot, on all kinds of things. My favorite project was a 3-D mural of a giant fireplace I did for a bar/restaurant. The face was faux fieldstone with a "slate" mantel. To keep the weight down, I soaked loads of paper napkins in the paste, smushed them into shape right on the wall, then painted it to look like stone. It worked out beautifully.

Very pretty, Kim! I bet the colors of the shell are even more awesome in person, plus the silk shimmer-nice :-)

Thanks, It's a little different from most of my other work. I was just playing.
I'm putting it up for Farmer's Market this weekend. Spring is finally here now !

It is different in materials and shape, but what's neat is that it's still identifiable as "Kim" -beige/brown with blue/grey, with iridescence--even the image background shows it; a really nice pallete and look :-).

Thanks for noticing the "kimness" that's neat to hear!

These are the pins I had made up by etsy's buttonarcade that are close ups of my beads.
My website is printed in teeny tiny letters on the edge of each one.
I have already recouped my investment by selling 100 to a gift shop.

I've missed you guys. Has everyone been as busy as me?

I noticed even on the Deviant art site that i monitor that everyone is like exploding in creativity of late. I used to get like 30 new works a day and of late have been getting 200+ new works to look at. Yeah busy very! :)

Howdy Kim-
Unfortunately, I've no been as busy as I'd like to be (at least not in the way I should be) but am trying to fix that :-)

Read around the site here and check out what's coming up; there are a few things in the works that are going to be group projects, and are pretty neat.

One thing is the formation of an Etsy Street Team. We've got several people on board and I need to send a letter out to Admin. to let them know the details and then wait for them to get back to me with approval.

They need an estimate on how many members there'll be and the usernames so I'm adding a post in the forum so whoever else wants in can sign up, so add yourself if you'd like to. At the end of the day today, I'll collect the names and send them in with the letter.

It will take several days to hear from them, and I'll get back to everyone with the details and our next move with this. While waiting for their response, I'm taking a brief, much-needed hiatus and then we'll get moving on this .

Glad you're back and that all went well :-)
-Ida.
