Considerations - The Art in Marketing

From The Start - Follow our Journeys

Why does ploy sound so bad? Ok we'll call it strategy then.

I'm going to take the scanned close ups of my best beads and have etsy's buttonarcade make them into buttons ( the metal pin kind ) to sell at Farmer's Market and shows. At 500 1 inch buttons for $100 I think I'll only have to sell 30 to 50 of them to break even. It's a great idea since so many of my favorite beads are one of a kind, I can hardly bear to part with them.
She lets you have 10 different designs.

And the great thing or me is she's a young friend of my son's that used to live here in Fairbanks . She shared a table with me at her first craft show as a teen when she was making adorable polymer clay furniture pieces. So now I'm so happy to support her venture now that' she's a young mother working at home.

Thanks,
I just listed them as a set on etsy. I'll see how they go. I put them out at Farmer's Market last week and sold a couple and then had a gift shop buy 100.

Hi Kim,
Welcome back. I featured this on the front page. :)

How cool is that! I like the idea I do well with art work on keychains. The
cost for the buttons would be more cost effective. I think that having ten
different buttons to choose is great.
Best of Luck to you.
Let us know how it goes:)

Sounds like a great idea, Kim! You might want to check out the National Buttons Society. They have chapters all over the place, and have button artists as well as collectors as members. You'd have a built-in market once you join. Check it out: NBS
