Promoting via Technorati

This past month I have been making several posts regarding Technorati. In simple terms (I hope) I have explained what it is, how it works, and how you can use it to your advantage in promoting your blog or anything you publish that has an RSS feed. After several posts, my blogging friend, Laurie B posted a Technorati experiment on her own blog. This experiment is designed to boost your Technorati authority. I'm not sure what the end results of… Continue

I may be clever, but I'm lazy

Just a week ago I decided to switch gears on my regular PIOP blog (yes, PIOP is lazy typing for Pass It On Plates) and focus on marketing. Walking advertisement

I keep a list of things I need with me whenever I leave the house or studio. One thing on my list was some sort of shopping bag for the upcoming art show in Lincoln City, Oregon. Wanting to avoid plastic bags, my wish list had a star drawn by "re-useable shopping bags." My plates are… Continue
