Absolutely beautiful Kimberly!
The move went great, Set up my studio in the first month and have had a steady stream of visitors ever since.
Out of 4 months we only had one without visitors so I didn't get much work done. I was finally going to have some time to get cranking on...

My Next Marketing Ploy
Why does ploy sound so bad? Ok we'll call it strategy then.
I'm going to take the scanned close ups of my best beads and have etsy's buttonarcade make them into buttons ( the metal pin kind ) to sell at Farmer's Market and shows. At 500 1 inch buttons for $100 I think I'll only have to sell 30 to 50 of them to break even. It's a great idea since so many of my favorite beads are one of a kind, I can hardly bear to part with them.

- UPS is not really a viable option here. Prioriyt Mail is how I have things shipped to me and I get it in a reasonable time,
I've been shipping out by First Calss and everyone is surprised how fast it is.
Utility prices have DOUBLED in the last 4 years.
Everything els in the stores seems to be pretty much in league with the states except if you compare fresh produce to say, California.
I am able to get much better prices for my work here though as well.

Check out www.coryosity.etsy.com for cabs and gemstones among other things.
I spent hours on his banner and couldn't size it right and ended up cramming it together but he's happy with it. It'll do.
Ishould have been in the studio making stuff but I got excited to have him get his own shop.
