That's where we were for most of our 14 years. Fortunately, we moved away 5 months before the Northridge quake. After the rather rough year of '92 I was tired and wanted out of there because our boys were young at the time. The riots really got under my skin. I wanted to finish raising our kids somewhere relatively peaceful and safe. But I sure miss LA! Especially Anchor Steam on draught in the middle of the Farmer's Market on Third and Fairfax.
