- Professional mom and fine artist on the side.
Over a decade in marketing graphic design with Fortune 500 companies (I was art director with Novell). I've since left it and a successful graphic design consultancy to focus on being a mom and doing art on my own terms.
My husband is a director of marketing specializing in internet marketing. He's really coached me in regards to blogging, and I've seen my organic ranking rise incredibly within the search engines.
Really looking forward to exchanging ideas and thoughts with the artists in this forum!
My time is often limited, but not my intent. If I don't respond at first, please be a tad patient. :)

Welcome to considerations. This is a very tight group of very talented folks. Glad you could join us. You can invite folks if you want but for now we are trying to keep this down to mostly just a tight group of folks. I am not sure if we ever really open this up. It is up to the community.
I have something like 3 posts or so that are marked private for my friends only, listed on my page. I do not know if they are visible on the main page or not. You need to be one of my friends to see them.
There is a weekly, "show us your latest and greatest" forum thread that is our most popular that is fun to participate in. You can download as many photos into group gallery as you want. I suggest you use flickr for that.
There is an image viewer here that can be found in the the badge area that works to show just your images, and can be dropped on any of your sites to show off you gallery here.
You can post on your blog on your My Page, if you tell me that you have I can add it to the main front page blog. but it does not go there automatically.
I suppose that I should set up a forum post for all of this since it seems to be getting longer and longer :)
I suggest that if you have a blog you put the URL into the section labled RSS on the far right. You blog will show up here then.
