The easiest way to embed images and change image size on any postings is as follows;
On the text entry box that you type you text into, you will notice a line of icons right about the area you enter text. The 6th icon over as of this writing looks like a tiny picture. Click on that. It will pull up a requestor. The first line of the requester asks for where on your hard drive the image resides. Skip the next line of text. You will see a blue line of text named Options. Click on the text named options. Here you will see some options. Have fun play with the options, remember to click the box next to the options to try them out. You can always delete your trial post aftwards.
Part way down is an option called "Create Thumbnails" click the box, and change the number of pixels to the size you want. 300 is the default, try differing sizes. There you go.
Play around with the other options on that image requester and the icons above the text entry area. I would not use the pop up window option, as many folks have that blocked on their browsers.
You can also change image size after the fact. Look in the html code for width and hieght. Edit them to your needs.
