Considerations - The Art in Marketing

From The Start - Follow our Journeys

I found myself with a collection of new house keys (some not so new) because I am also in Real Estate and my co-workers keep on leaving them in my desk along with other found objects, they know I will turn them into something artistic, they say.

I love the challenge of finding anything old, rusty or even new, and transforming it...and also realize that people feel moved to buy items that are original and specially something recycled.

What is your experience of this, please share your ideas with me.
At the moment, I am looking for new ways to make wings. I am working on wire shaped angel wings with cheese cloth...it is fun but I am not quite sure of the end results. I will post the ones I have made later on.

I cast. Often my casts do not work or i have scraps laying around after fabrications. Some of my more interesting work comes from "found" art amongst my own scraps. Its pretty neat. :)

I did not think about that..."found art amongst your own scraps"
It is true, I have a friend who sends me her left over material, and I mean left over smallish bits of this and that.
I have made a challenge for myself to make a doll as soon as possible with only those, and funny, it sells as fast, how do you figure that one! I have materials galore and can pretend they are little rags, but it is not the same when you are trying to create from a challenge of not having "enough" creativity kicks in fast.
This is totally another theme...but have you seen what the people in Cuba does with old cars, they create new parts, everything is fixable or useful...I hope we don't ever have to be in such need to become more creative.
All my best to you and the beauty you create.

This subject is about forcing creativity with what supplies, tools are at hand. I think its a great exersize and show how or another, i to find that these pieces often sell incredibly fast.

What a great topic. I'm big about turning trash or discarded items into art, in fact that's mostly my medium when I do my art. Repurposing often means helping keep the world "green" and getting creative in the process. Here's a few things I made out of old discarded toys.
