That's a neat idea. Well done :o)
Are you using it to display your work (as in your photographs) or are you selling it?

Thank you everyone.
:)

I'm using this to display a few of my pendants - I made it to fit a certain space as it'll be on my table later this year, when I venture back out into the world of Craft Fairs... !

I did think about making some and selling them...but...I have to find just the right pieces of driftwood down at the beach - I do have a couple more pieces that would be suitable.
The only real problem is that this kinda thing takes quite a long time to make. The materials cost very little, but the amount of hours it takes !

Here's a new thing we're adding: A Pot Luck Pass It On. It's a bowl 12" across and 5" deep. All PlateWraps made for the plates fit on it, it has a tracking number on the back, and it travels around collecting plate (or bowl) diary entries and names just like the regular Pass It On Plates.

Only bigger.

I decided to spend a little time online for a bit. I do not have much time right now for online activities, but i realized that I had many new items that have not made it on to my Etsy yet, so time i will have to commit to Etsy probably is important right now.

This is defiantly my busy season for my first year.

This set is called Moon Flower after the plant of the same name. Moon flowers are pretty much my favorite flowers. They bloom at night and last only one evening. And the shape and form and size of the flower is just amazing. When I had them at my house, it looked like the ants acted as the pollinators. Here I captured the evenings beauty in silver for everyone to see everyday.

I have several other pearl items that will be listed in the next few days.

I made this pendant right at the start of spring. I really like the whole over bezel look, it seems to really set off this stone and gives such an interesting look to the over all work.
My original training was in semi precious stone and bezel work. I did tons of work that way, bought specialized equipment (yep there is one that is really important that few know about) and went to town. Even though i did lots of original mounting, it seemed to me to be only so many ways to present a stone in a bezel and keep it interesting and fresh. I am wrong of course there is an infinite number of ways to go about bezeling.

This is a Tiffany stone, set on a sterling base and a fine silver bezel. Of particular interest on this work is the over bezel and the bail, both original concepts. The side ornamentation include imprinted circles accents and sculpted flowers on both sides. Tiffany stone goes by another name but I forget what it is called.

For some reason over the last little while, I started getting into mostly metal only work. I think it was because I got bored with bezel work. This is the first bezel work I have done in a long while. I was missing the technique much so the other day that I grabed a decent stone and went to town. Personally, I am extremely happy with the outcome. I seem to have moved to a whole new and interesting place in this art form.

I put this work on display for the farmers markets i have been showing at and the work received tons and tons of attention. So much so, that when it sold, I was bummed. lol The next one I make will be for display purposes only lol. And now I am in the market for some killer stones again. :)

I'm REALLY liking this whole look.
The circles/side elements are unexpected, but just enough; the bail, shape and the bezel is VERY well-done (and if anyone knows me, I notice everything, every little bump, crease, etc).
Good stuff :-)

Here is my new sets, Through the Picket Fence! I designed this piece from memories I have of a scary house, situated in the middle of the city, with tall oak trees that housed owls that hooted every evening. As children, we where afraid to walk by the haunted house during the day, and we would never think of it at night. We just peeked through the picket fence!
