Juried Show Questions

I have an opportunity to apply for my first juried show. The Sister Harvest Faire.

•Jury Criteria: Media acceptability, design, originality, overall impact.

1. I really need help from all of you experienced artists picking out which photos I should use to send to the jury .

2. Also any advice for booths and tents and displays etc. ( I will be sharing a booth with another silversmith who does beautiful yet different work).

Your link does not work above. I have only juried for coop art galleries and farmers market. I have not been turned down yet, and lets hope it stays that way. In my case I showed my work live.

This year my booth is really easy, I have a nice larger card table and some nice black velvet blocks I use. The table is covered with a gray flannel blanket. The contrast work out pretty nice. I do not think this will help you much but maybe given your size. One thing i heard and like, Is that you do not want to put out all your work. Have some that you can show if they have more interest.

I will be picking out some photos to send soon....I have some ideas for a booth. I like the glass enclosures for the spendy pieces. I have heard horror stories of pilferage.
