Considerations was founded by Scott Pincus. Scott, in a past life built a six million dollar a year Magazine, Catalog, and Direct marketing company. A success by anyones standards. Scott is a teacher at heart, and he is just one member of a community that by design, is here to share and mentor each other. A how to site for us all.

I went to a great meeting today

Today was our ORBS (Oregon Regional Beadmaker's Society) meeting at Aquila Glass in Portland. The special guest Jenny Newtson.

The more the merrier

it was 46 degrees here this morning.

Lots of shop items
This will be a quick post. Due to circumstances, just being pretty busy, I have not been been renwing or listing new items much over the last week. But I have been watching my views with Heart o tron. Strangly, with no new listings, no active forum threads, and no listings in treasuries, my view count has been rising of late.

My Next Marketing Ploy

Why does ploy sound so bad? Ok we'll call it strategy then.

I'm going to take the scanned close ups of my best beads and have etsy's buttonarcade make them into buttons ( the metal pin kind ) to sell at Farmer's Market and shows. At 500 1 inch buttons for $100 I think I'll only have to sell 30 to 50 of them to break even. It's a great idea since so many of my favorite beads are one of a kind, I can hardly bear to part with them.

Etsy Front Page :)

it is 39 degrees out here this morning, the sun is not up so I can not see if the sky is blue or not. Is it every going to get to be springtime and warm up? Daytime temperature has been getting up to the higher 40's so I am getting some extended shop time in. :)

A lite post - Expectations

it is 40 degrees here this morning.

Lite and easy.
Todays post is lite and easy. I had a pretty big post planned for this week. I was very excited about it but murphys law came into play and caused a postponement. It thought I was going to announce that i had my first profitable 30 day period of time, this after only 2 months.

For those of you that kept up with EtysTools, you probably were pretty bummed when it went off line. I know I was. It is such a pain to try and figure out Item hearts from Etsy. I've just started doing something that's very fulfilling, yet a bit intimdating in a good way.
